Big Easy Lounge Celebrates Mardi Gras 2011.
Bangor's first Mardi Gras celebration New Orleans style right here in Maine. Everyone enjoyed cajun food, zydeco music, Dixie beer, costumes, beads, prizes, and of course a traditional King Cake. We even had a Mardi Gras parade downtown.
If you missed this year's event. "Don't Worry; Be Happy!" Next year's Mardi Gras event promises to be even bigger and better. So plan early, for the best costume. Or, why not enter a float in next year's Mardi Gras parade.
